Project C.L.E.A.R.

In collaboration with the City of Long Beach, Department of Health and Human Services and the Coalition for a Smoke-Free Long Beach, Project C.L.E.A.R. stands for “Community Leadership Education Action and Renewal.  Our focus is on: 1) Smoking Cessation,  2)100% Smoke Free Outdoor Work Policies and 3) Local Anti-Tobacco Media Campaign.

Early Childhood Education

In collaboration with the Asian and Pacific Islander California Action Network (APIsCAN),  our aim is to work towards promoting access to high quality ECE-Preschool programs for children, including diverse racial and ethnic groups and English language learners, specifically with the Pacific Islander community.  We are looking to encourage investment and local community based planning to address the needs for programs and facilities, support multiple service delivery systems: home, community, and school-based, support high quality full-day and part-day services in order to meet the needs of all families and provide opportunities for children in license-exempt care to access high quality part-day preschool programs.
